Gomez, for <span style=\"color: #800000\"><em>Best Student Paper Award<\/em><\/span>, for presenting our paper <span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201c<\/span>New effective methods of preparation of states of quantum image representation,<span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201d<\/span> on April 14, 2025 at SPIE\u2019s Defense and Commercial Sensing Symposium.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">On March 5: WILEY Publishing House has published our book <em><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Quantum Image Processing in Practice: <\/strong><\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><em><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">A Mathematical Toolbox. <\/strong>Digital version<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> is available on WILEY <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiley.com\/en-us\/Quantum+Image+Processing+in+Practice%3A+A+Mathematical+Toolbox-p-9781394265152\">website<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">On February 21, our paper about new concepts of<span style=\"color: #800000\"> the generalized golden ratio function and similarity fields in the vector space<\/span> was published in journal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2227-7390\/13\/5\/699\"><em>Mathematics<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">In 2024, I was ranked #8 in <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>Image Editing<\/em><\/span> by <a href=\"https:\/\/scholargps.com\/top-scholars?year=2024&amp;specialty=Image+editing\">Top Scholars by Expertise<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">On April 22, 2024, Alex Gomez (our undergraduate student) presented two papers in <em><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\">SPIE <\/span>Conference, Defense + Commercial Sensing 2024<\/em>, Maryland, USA. <span style=\"color: #000000\">He got <span style=\"color: #800000\"><em>the<\/em> <em>Best Paper Award<\/em><\/span> for the<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;color: #000000\"> paper: <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Grigoryan, A.M.; Gomez, A.A. &#8220;Quaternion Fourier transform-based alpha-rooting color image enhancement in 2 algebras: Commutative and non-commutative.&#8221;<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1117\/12.3017692\">http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1117\/12.3017692<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to MS student, Alexis Gomez, for presenting a new method for state-to-state transformation in quantum computing on September 19, at Texas Quantum Summit-2025 (view poster).
