Must Have
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (with geotechnical engineering emphasis)
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant geotechnical experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
- Engineer-In-Training certificate or ability to obtain within six months of hire is required
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas preferred
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Familiar with standard geotechnical engineering software
- Solid communication skills and ability to work well in multiple teams
- Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas with an entrepreneurial mindset
Shifts
Monday – Friday:7:00am-5:00pm
Job Duties
- Assisting with overall development and management of engineering projects
- Partner with key stakeholders in the coordination and supervision of field and engineering tasks
- Performing engineering analyses and calculations, developing recommendations and preparing engineering reports for geotechnical projects
- Preparation of project proposals and cost estimates
- Attend project and client meetings
- Participate in training and Professional Development opportunities
- Training and development of TWE Staff Professionals
- Assist other departments with geotechnical and other engineering services
- Provide management assistance with interoffice project coordination
The posting says 1 year of experience but they will take entry level with their EIT. The EIT is a must have.
