Poster Presentation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The overall goal of UTSA\u2019s project is to develop new methods of instruction and associated curricular change that focuses on the intersection of academic literacy and content competencies, through evidence-based teaching approaches. We outlined the three major components of the project: Lesson study with STEM faculty, enhanced student mentoring, and professional development experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We further present preliminary data on Lesson Study with STEM faculty and highlight some professional development experiences as well as outline plans for peer mentoring to begin in year 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
