I am an Assistant Professor of Research with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Xi’an Jiaotong University, in 2011 and 2013, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Tennessee in 2017, all in electrical engineering. In the past, I worked as an intern student, postdoctoral researcher and engineer respectively at ISO New England, Texas A&M University and National Renewable Energy Laboratory. I am an IEEE Senior Member. My research interests include power system dynamics, stability and control considering high penetration of renewable energy resources.
