IMPORTANT INFORMATION - APPLE HARDWARE
For those who currently own or are considering purchasing Apple Hardware, the following should be noted:
- Many applications used for Architecture are only available on Windows Operating System (i.e Revit). MacOS users may be required to run Windows on their Apple hardware.
- Apple’s discreet video cards ARE NOT Autodesk certified.
- Virtualization software such as VMWare Fusion or Parallels Desktop use with intense design software can often have issues and performance is significantly reduced.
- Students who choose to purchase Apple hardware despite these warnings should select the highest performing system possible.
