We are pleased to announce that our ECE students Bahadir Biten and Reynaldo Sergio Gonzalez submitted an interesting proposal to the UTSA Office of Sustainability Call for Proposal 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Sara Ahmed and have been awarded the funding for their project of ” Fast Wireless Pulse Charging of UTSA Electric Golf-carts”.
ECE want to congratulate and wish the best luck to our students on the Army RDECOM Competition!!!! Our team’s entry “SNAP Drone: Modular 3D Printed Packable Quadcopter Assembled in a Snap” and our faculty member Dr. Patrick Benavidez have been selected as one of 10 finalists selected. ECE visits Puerto Rico for the FIRST® LEGO® League The ECE Department was invited by Eureka Enrichment Services, Inc. to the 6th annual Puerto Rico FIRST LEGO League Championship that was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 2, 2019. In 2013, Eureka Enrichment Services, Inc. was selected as the sole Affiliate Partner for FIRST® LEGO® League.
