{"id":2,"date":"2017-07-06T21:47:12","date_gmt":"2017-07-06T21:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/utsaengineer.wpengine.com\/faculty-page-example\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2018-02-08T22:12:27","modified_gmt":"2018-02-09T04:12:27","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ceid.utsa.edu\/hhan\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>research goal<\/strong> of our lab is to understand the role of mechanical stress in the development and remodeling of the cardiovascular system and thus to improve the understanding, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Our lab currently has several funded projects, all aim at understanding the role of mechanical stress in arterial and heart remodeling and its relationship to cardiovascular diseases.
