Welcome to the Wechsler Laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where we MEND chronic diseases using Materials Engineering, Nanotechnology, and Drug delivery. Our research is focused on engineering environmentally responsive polymeric materials for applications in biosensing, drug delivery, and tissue engineering.
