Development of site-specific plans and methodology to provide hazard reduction on job sites.<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;width: 100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%\"><span style=\"color: #800000;font-size: 14pt\"><strong>The University of Alabama<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>Introduction to Construction Engineering \u200bCE 366 (Undergraduate Students):<\/strong> Applies engineering economic principles to construction and engineering problems; construction management processes and methods in plannings, scheduling and monitoring engineering projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geotechnical Engineering \u200bCE 340 \u200b(Undergraduate Students)<\/strong>: Introduces topics of static and dynamic interaction of soil and water; theories of stress distribution, consolidation, strength and failures and stability of soil structures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vertical Construction Methods CE 462\/562 (Undergraduate and Graduate Students):<\/strong> \u200bIntroduces topics of vertical construction equipment and methods, design of vertical construction systems and construction operation analysis and management processes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Construction Cost Estimating CE 463\/563 (Undergraduate and Graduate Students):<\/strong> \u200bAddresses the estimating and cost control function from conceptual planning through project execution. Topics include productivity analysis, organization of estimates, cost forecasting, estimating tools and techniques, contingency planning, and relationship to contract types and project execution strategies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Safety Engineering \u200bCE 464\/564 \u200b(Undergraduate and Graduate Students):<\/strong> Introduces topics of safety management and accident prevention, including state and federal laws related to general and construction projects.
