Welcome to the research group website of Dr. Xiaowei Zeng at the University of Texas at San Antonio. The goal of our research is to understand how material microstructure determining macroscopic material behavior through theoretical analysis, computational modeling and simulation. Our current research mainly focuses on bone fracture, cell motility modeling and simulation, material failure analysis, multiscale modeling and microcontinuum theory.
