Application Eligibility:
- Full-time Ph.D. students in the Mechanical Engineering Department not receiving a scholarship (research assistantship ok) for AY 2017.
- Students cannot be receiving another competitive scholarship simultaneously. (Receiving other financial support, RA or TA, is permitted)
- The research topic being pursued – must be in the area of Computational Solid Mechanics
- Students need to take at least 9 credit hours at their graduating semester to qualify for the scholarship
