The National Science Foundation (NSF) has a program called the “Graduate Research Fellowships Program” that is available to both senior undergraduate students and existing graduate students who are looking for fellowship funding to conduct research at a US institution. They do NOT have to be attending graduate school at UTSA – they can apply for the program and, if awarded, the award would follow them to any university where they chose to attend graduate school. The deadlines are typically end of October (vary by discipline) and this is an annual program, meaning that it typically is solicited for every year.
