(May 20, 2019) — The UTSA/TAMU Construction Peer Exchange took place on Friday, May 17 in College Station. Faculty from the construction programs of both universities exchanged information regarding their programs and began exploring areas of possible collaboration. Involved faculty from Texas A&M University included Patrick Suermann, Boong Ryoo, and Amir Behzadan, while the University of Texas San Antonio delegation included Dr. Tulio Sulbaran, Dr. Suat Gunhan, David Matiella, Theresa Bailey, Angelika Rocha, Dr. Sandeep Langar, and Dr Ibukun Awolusi. As a result of the peer exchange, faculty are anticipated to explore individual areas of synergy and both departments will continue to strengthen their operations to support the missions of the two universities.
